This is a week of progress. Much has progressed. We have been progressing. Progression. What is this progress, though? Well, we've purchased a brand new graphics card for the engineering computer! Hooray for processing power! In addition, we are getting a new photogrammetry software called "RealityCapture". This will make the speed and quality of our photo to model conversion increase by tenfold. Below, you can see a recreation of a rock wall done in the software. Eureka!
I surprisingly never had cognitive dissonance during this project. A lot of the concepts we discussed I don't often think about. I don't necessarily have a view on those concepts, so I chose viewpoints that I thought most people wouldn't have. This made the discussions more interesting.
Now that I've learned more about #activism, I can say that, from what I've observed, it works better for fundraisers than actual movements. A fundraiser doesn't actually require anyone to participate, but it still allows them to help. Movements require hours out of our days and participation, which a lot of people don't have time for.
Oy vey! This blog was hard to write!
